What is the best way to refinish particle board tables?

They are rectangle tables, older with parts of the “wood grain” look removed by old tape. I need to redo the tops so that they look presentable for an office. Any inexpensive tips would be appreciated.

    The button use spray paint however if you are able to get small spray gun it will peel right off if you need to get small spray paint you need.
