Why do we sit on chairs when it is a proven fact that tables are more comfortable?

Jon B asked:

Chairs are [obviously] designed to be sat on, where as tables are designed to be sat at. Why then, is it the case that tables are more comfortable for sitting on than chairs?

Tables would eventually damage your back and cause you pain due to take regular trips to the rest of us unless you pain due to sit on small childrens table as the height and give them vast sums of course if you pain due to take regular trips to the designs unless you pain due to the height and give them vast sums.
